Understanding & Supporting Your ADHD Child

4-Part Online Parent Education Course with Coach Cate This supportive and informative four-week online workshop series is designed for parents and caregivers of children and teenagers with ADHD. ADHD education is a key pillar in the ADHD journey, and each session blends both lived and professional experience to build awareness, confidence, and practical strategies to better support both your child and yourself. The logistics: Tuesdays Evenings - 10th, 17th, 24th June, 1st July 202 7:15pm – 8:45pm (Zoom) €120 for all 4 sessions What We'll Cover: Week 1 The ADHD Brain & the Role of Dopamine: Understand how ADHD impacts brain functioning, behaviour, and motivation. Learn why dopamine plays a key role in attention, emotion, and reward-seeking behaviour. Week 2 Executive Function: Explore the executive functions affected by ADHD – such as organisation, time management, working memory, and emotional regulation – and how to support development in these areas. Week 3 Communication, Problem Solving & Social Skills: Gain tools for strengthening communication and encouraging collaborative problem-solving. This session also explores social challenges and how to build social confidence in your child. Week 4 Thriving with ADHD: Tools, Strategies & Looking Ahead: Develop a toolkit to support your child moving forward with clarity and confidence. This session includes a focus on parental self-care and recognising parents’ strengths and resilience. Please respect the privacy of other participants by not recording or sharing content outside the course. 3. Technical Requirements: A stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone are recommended. Please log in a few minutes early to troubleshoot any tech issues. 4. Refunds & Cancellations: All sticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued. 5. Code of Conduct: ADHD Connections is a supportive and inclusive space.
