What should I do if I think I have ADHD?

If you think you have ADHD, the first thing we suggest doing is completing some online self assessments. You can complete these on behalf of yourself or for a loved one. This does not substitute an official diagnosis, but be very informative.

Do you carry out assessments/diagnosis?

I am not qualified to diagnose people and therefore I do not carry out assessments.
 
I can advise and inform on the process of how to go about getting a diagnosis and I can support you on the journey through my pre diagnosis programme.

What is an ADHD Coach?

An ADHD coach is a professional coach specifically trained to support young people and adults who have ADHD. They can also work with parents and partners who might be impacted by ADHD. 
 
'ADHD coaches support their clients in developing a comprehensive understanding of both the nature of ADHD and the impact of ADHD on their client’s quality of life. ADHD coaches work with clients to create structures, support, skills, and strategies. Coaching assists clients with ADHD to stay focused on their goals, face obstacles, address core ADHD-related issues like time management, organization, and self-esteem, gain clarity and function more effectively.” - ADDA

*Accreditations mean that a Coach has been observed while coaching and the credebtialling body has certified that they are coaching to a high standard, in line with coaching guidelines and in adherence to ethics.

Why can't you pay per session?

Accepted Answer

Claire is a self employed small business owner.
She only takes on a certain amount of clients per month to ensure high quality coaching and adequate availability on her calendar.

Claire is also required to pay VAT, 23% on all services.

To make Coaching as accessible as possible, we offer tiered pricing and payment plans, as we understand payment in full up front does not suit everyone.

The monthly payment scheme allows us to automate the process for clients, hold them accountable for attending sessions and support the business needs.

We recognise that it is strict, however this is only way we can ensure that our overheads are met each month.
